My first selection is Torvil and Dean probably the best ever.

Find your favourite champions and add them here.

My current champion, is a horse named Eight Belles, who came in second in the Kentucky Derby yesterday.

She broke both of her front ankles as she crossed the finish line, and was put to death on the track, before being hauled off.

IS THIS A SPORT Question

Screw anyone who supports this kind of HORSESHIT !!

. . . including Hillary & Chelsea...
That horse was "the only filly in the race"...
Wake up morons !!! If you hadn't have gone... this game would not have been able to have been played !!

I love horses Exclamation

Horses should be allowed to be horses.
When will people be more humane ?

Lindz!

That video of Torvil and Dean is very impressive, and I have never liked the concept of "retire" ... i much prefer something like...
"We still kick it once in a while, because we love it, and we still can!"

Mixey!

The racing horse story is sad.   Maybe it's the messing with genetics via selective breeding to obtain a winer for this "sport" , or that the pressure to win is beyond ridiculous, but anyway you cut it, it's sad.

This is one of "Those things" that very rich people indulge in.
This is the version of dog fighting that rich folks bet on.
Sacrifice the animal for money and prestige. Hob-nob at Churchill Downs
to be "Seen", and place yourself with the elite. Horses should be running
free in the great plains... It's their nature.
Down, and nearly out in Detroit......
